Chief is one of only four Boykin Spaniels to achieve the title of "Grand Hunting Retriever Champion". He was the first Boykin to qualify at the Master Nationals. He went 6 for 6 in master tests. Chief was the youngest male Boykin Spaniel ever to achieve his HRCH title at 20 Months and 10 Days of age. He is the 2010 and 2014 Boykin Spaniel Society (BSS) National Open Retriever Champion. Became was the first Spaniel to enter the HRC 3000 points Club. The highest HRC point dog living, fourth highest in the history of HRC. Hunting to family pet this dog has it all.
