We are so excited to announce this exceptional, sought after breeding containing 3 of the 4 GRHRCH Boykin Spaniels and has 143 Boykin Spaniel Society National Championships represented in the pedigree. We have been researching pedigrees and lineages well over 2 years now before deciding on this pair. This breeding represents an impeccable combination of excellence in disposition and manners in the home and field, exceptional pedigree with proven hunting, hunt-test, and trainability, attention to genetics and the resulting CoI of offspring with no similar parentage back over 4 generations, and the incredible looks to back them up.

We already have over 20 applications for this pair, but our goal is to find the best possible homes for our puppies with preference to hunting and hunt test homes. Once the pregnancy is confirmed, we will begin reviewing applications and contacting potential homes for the phone interview portion. Puppies will go in the order we receive deposits from our approved homes.

"Finn" is owned by Butch Herb who I consider to be one of the most outstanding Boykin Spaniel trainers of our generation. He has been the Open Upland Nation Champion for the past 2 consecutive years in 2020 and 2021. He placed 3rd in the 2020 BSS National Retriever Championship behind his sire Pelham who placed 1st. Finn represents the high drive and style of this breeding with excellent marking abilities, big water entries, and exceptional field trial and hunt test background.
Finn is the son of 6xGRHRCH UH Brandywine Stonewalls Gallant Pelham MH MHR UOCH16 OCH16, 18, 20 also owned by Butch Herb. Pelham is a member of the HRC's honorable 1000 point club and was recently edited into the HRC Hall of fame. Pelham is the 4th Boykin to recieve the BSS Dual Championships trophy by winning the upland and retriever open classes. Also he is the first on to do so in the same year.
Finn is also the grandson to GRHRCH UH Coosa's Stonewall Jackson MH MHR OCH11, 13 UOCH15 also owned by Butch Herb. Stoney is a member of the HRC honorable 1,000 point club third Boykin to receive the Dual Championship Trophy by winning both Retriever and Upland Open Stakes.

"Mallie" is owned by Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine candidate c/o 2022 Megan Midkiff. Mallie truly is an incredible dog both in the field and in the house and I love that she allows me to share my passion for Boykin Spaniels with everyone! She was our personal hunting dog for many years retrieving both waterfowl and doves before moving abroad with me. She has traveled all over the country and parts of the world, she is a true adventure dog. Before studying abroad Mallie was a front office dog at the Veterinary Practices I worked at. As such, she was required to be well behaved and mannered all day long making her house manners impeccable. The combination of Finn's excelling hunt career and Mallies calm demeanor and trainability will make a perfect pair.
Mallie is the granddaughter of GRHRCH UH Just Ducky's Justforkicks OCH06, 08, 09 often considered the most decorated boykin in history as well as being a member of the HRC's honorable 1,500 point club.

A little bit about myself! My name is Megan Midkiff and I am currently a 3rd year veterinary student. I am getting ready to start the completion of my clinical year this May at Auburn University Collage of Veterinary Medicine. Mallie was my first boykin born in 2016 and she has truly sparked my passion for boykins and the entire breed. I have since become an active member of the BSS and actually just became a founding board member of the new Gulf Coast Boykin Spaniel Club. I recently applied for the Boykin Spaniel Society's preferred breeder program. I know we will be readily accepted due to the diligence we put into our program! I have big plans for our future here at Bayside Boykin's and I cannot wait to continue to preserve and improve the breed. Our other female Saige will also be bred once she is of age and has some titles under her belt (around 2023), she just recently ran at BSS nationals in the puppy division as the youngest dog there.
