WORTHY NOTES:
~ The 2023 Q1 OFA Testing Report to the Boykin Spaniel Society noted 301 Boykins tested for Hips. Twenty-nine (9.6%) of the 301 Boykins scored an ‘Excellent’ rating. Kimber and two litter sisters (Nala and Rosie) are all represented in this top tier. The litter itself (Boy x Nico 2021) saw four of seven complete the recommended BSS Health tests; providing for a 43% OFA ‘Excellent’ Hip rating in the litter. The fourth, a male, rated ‘Good’. We feel blessed to have accomplished this with our first litter and continue to strive to do the same in this litter.
~ Two of the four (Boykin) Grand Hunter Retriever Champions (GRHRCH) represented in five-generation pedigree.
