spring 2021 - Ty completed all 4 series of the Puppy Stakes at the BSS Nationals!!
April 2021, in his very first conformation show in Perry, GA, Ty earned a 3 pt. major going Winners Dog over a nice group of class dogs.
May 2021, Ty started his competitive dock diving career in the Novice and Junior Divisions of the Open dog category.
In June 2021, Ty earned a JAM in the Sr. Puppy Stakes at the CBSRC Field Trial. And He also earned his Dock Novice (DN) title!!
On Sept. 19, 2021, Ty earned his conformation championship title by going Best of Breed over 3 other Champions for a 4 pt. major.
In July 2021 Ty earned his 2nd major towards his Conformation Championship and he earned his Dock Junior (DJ) title!!
Spring 2022 - Ty was one of 15 dogs out of 80 in the BSS Novice Stakes to complete all 3 series of the National Retriever Field Trial. He also earned his first 2 started passes.
In addition, Ty earned his Rally Novice title with scores all above 95/100, including two 3rd placements in classes of 10+ dogs. He also had fun earning his BCAT title the same weekend.
Ty earned his first 2 Started passes as the Central Kentucky HRC test in May.
Summer 2022 - Ty earned his Grand Champion conformation title with all Major wins, including 5 best of breed wins. He finished this title in three weekends of showing. Ty also earned his first Group placement (3rd placement) in Owner Handler sporting Group in Salem, VA on August 7th.
Fall 2022 - Ty earned his Started title going 4/4! Ty also finished in the Top 10 of Owner Handler Boykins in AKC Conformation and has received an invitation to the 2022 NOHS Final in Orlando, FL in Dec.
Ty earned a 1st Placement in the Novice Stakes at the CBSRC Field Trial Oct. 22, 2022 (tied for 1st with Koto). He also earned 2 BSS Novice Retriever Hunt Test passes.
Ty closed out the year earning 3 AKC Junior Hunter Retriever passes, leaving one more to go for his title.
Winter 2023 - Ty earns a Sporting Group 1st placement at the Clemson Kennel Club Bred By Exhibitor show! The following weekend we went to the ASC Flushing Spaniel show and Ty earned Best of Breed and Best Owner Handler placement!! And then went on to earn his Rally Intermediate title with a 1st placement that afternoon.
The following weekend, Ty earned his last leg towards his AKC Junior Hunter Retriever title.
Ty has also received an invitation to the 2023 Westminster Kennel Club show in May. Ty is my first bred by dog to earn this invitation.
Spring 2023 - Ty earns a Sporting Dog Group 1 placement at the Myrtle Beach Kennel Club April 29, 2023. He is the first owner handled Boykin to every win a Sporting Group 1 and eligible to participate in the Best in Show Competition!!!
Ty earned the Select Dog Placement at Westminster and with that win he also earned his Grand Champion Bronze title!
Fall 2023 - Oct.8th, Ty earns a Sporting Group 4th Placement at the N. Augusta KC show! The following weekend he earned in Rally Advanced title. And then a week after that he earns a 1st placement ribbon in the CBSRC Field Trial Novice Stakes out of 16 dogs running that day! Ty is truly turning out to be a versatile dog, moving easily between the different competition venues.
Thanksgiving 2023 Ty appears on NBC TV on the National Dog Show broadcast in the Sporting Group after winning Best of Breed out of a competitive group of Boykins earlier in the day.
Ty earned the Select Dog Placement and Best Bred by Exhibitor medallion at the AKC National Championship in Orlando, FL Dec. 2023. He also finished #5 in the Breed Stats for year which earned him an invitation to the 2024 Westminster Shows.
Winter 2024 - Ty kicked off the year with a bang going Best of Breed at the Flushing Spaniel club specialty show in Jan. At the Charleston KC club he earned Best of Breed Both days as well as a Group 4 Placement under Judge David Miller and a Group 2 Owner Handled Placement on Saturday. On Sunday he earned an Owner Handled Group 1 placement and competed for Best in Show!!! A first for him in the OH ring!
Summer 2024 - Ty earns his Rally Advanced and Beginner Novice titles. Also his Fetch Novice and Intermediate titles.
Ty earns a Sporting Group 3, as well as an OH Group 2 and Group 3 at the 4 day show in Lumberton NC at the end of April.
Fall 2024 - Ty has received an invitation to the Westminster Kennel Club show in Feb! The Top 5 dogs in every breed are invited to compete.
In addition, Ty earned an Award of Merit at the AKC National Championship show Dec. 14, 2024 under judge Sheila DiNardo.
Winter 2025 - Ty earns an Award of Merit at Westminster Kennel Club Show out of 12 Boykins entered. |
